John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from 1him 2who is and 3who was and who is to come, and from 4the seven spirits who are before his throne,

and from Jesus Christ 5the faithful witness, 6the firstborn of the dead, and 7the ruler of kings on earth. To 8him who loves us and 9has freed us from our sins by his blood
